Qualifications:
 |
Must be at
least 18 years of age. |
|
Must have
demonstrated ability to work with little supervision and make
appropriate decisions. |

Must possess
and maintain good physical and mental health, including having no
lifting restrictions or limitations. |
|
Must pass a
written background check, and all ongoing background checks with the
Department of Human Services per Rule 11 and/or BCA. Employees will need to
bring with them to each site a copy of the approved verification from
DHS. |

Must be
capable of independent travel. |
|
We prefer that people have a minimum of one
year's experience working directly with people that have developmental
disabilities or related conditions. |
|
Experience working with people that engage
in challenging behaviors, or have autism is a plus. |

Job Duties
|
Personal care
duties including bathing, skin and nail care, oral
hygiene, shaving, dressing, toilet (including diaper care), and assist
with eating. |
|
Assist with
transfers, ambulating and exercise. |
|
Complete
laundry. |
|
Complete light
housekeeping tasks. |
|
Complete data
documentation, e.g. document daily progress on goals and complete
subjective written logs. Following agency specific requirements
and formats. |

Communicate
effectively and respectively with all staff and clients of each
organization. |

Maintain a

Participate in
training requirements as required by the state and Social Service
Solutions Inc. |
