About Us

Home

Social Service Solutions provides quality direct care staffing services to children and adults that have developmental disabilities since 1997.

We are a small company that provides supportive services.  Our employees have worked with people that have various disabilities.  We tailor our services to meet our clientıs needs.  Our clients are the cornerstone of our agency.  We specialize in providing long and short term staffing services.  We work in licensed programs; Day Training and Habilitation Programs (DT&H) and in residential environments such as SLSıs and Rules 36 and 34.  We also work with families and their children in their homes.

When staffing assistance is requested, we make every effort to fill those requests with the same people to minimize time spent on training and to increase client overall comfort level.  We understand that it is difficult and time consuming to train new employees and want to minimize that.

For long term full or part time ongoing requests we like to have two to four people trained at your site.  When you have a need, we first attempt to select one of the previously trained individuals because they know the client's health and safety needs, their preferences and routines.

The employees who work with Social Service Solutions, receive training specific to licensing rules 245B, foster care licensing, Rules 10, 40 and 3.  All employees receive training in the mandated training areas prior to employment.  Employees also receive on-going training.  All ongoing training that employees receive not only meets licensing requirements but elective areas as well.  For example, we may arrange for an employee to receive training for a specific disability or syndrome if that would help us to better understand how to communicate and work with someone who has that disability.

In addition all employees must pass initial and yearly background checks via BCA and/or DHS.  Employees must also be able to physically lift and or transfer children and adults.

Some employees are trained in specialized areas.  For example, employees may have expertise in working with people who have mental illness issues, or know sign language.  Employees may also receive training in medication administration, crisis management and behavior intervention and/or program design.

We encourage and welcome feedback from our customers.  Feel free to contact us at any time to give us your feedback.  References are available upon request.
